Designed for anyone curious about primitive skills, experimental archaeology, or hands-on ancestral crafts, this course provides a complete introduction to the techniques, tools, and concepts behind flint knapping — all presented in a clear, structured, and accessible format.
You’ll learn how stone breaks, how to read platforms and ridges, how to strike and pressure flake with control, and how to turn raw material into shaped edges and usable tools. Each module builds on the last, guiding you from understanding basic fracture mechanics to producing consistent flakes, shaping your first biface, and completing practical beginner projects like scrapers, blades, and simple hand tools.
